ABOUT ME:
I am a skilled Data Engineer with problem-solving, business understanding and communication skills. I have accumulated technical expertise over the years while working with both Fortune 500 corporations as well as at startups in the USA and Canada. I’m willing to jump into groundbreaking challenges, to support business and operational teams to achieve their business objectives.
I strongly believe in continuous learning and updating skills by learning new technologies and in the last few years I have developed skills in Python programming, Pharo programming language and Tableau.
KEY PROJECTS:
Banking:
Developed SAS Governance framework. Worked on AML projects related to transaction monitoring and risk management. Handled multiple ETL projects related to Remote Banking and Point of Sales. Benchmarked current SAS system, especially for SAS exports to understand when a SAS program will fail due to hardware limitations.
Marketing
Build email and direct mail Data marts. During this project, I worked on a Database migration project. Converted Oracle SQL to Teradata SQL and converted Oracle-compliant SAS code to Teradata-compliant SAS code.
Insurance
Build Cubes for Loss and profit for insurance by state, month and by various categories. Enhanced data quality and automated manual processes for checking data quality.
Manufacturing
Build datasets from web and transformed in such a way that statistician can build a recommender system for various parts. Optimized certain process and reduced run time of process.
Health care
Worked extensively on Real World Data especially related to Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Did analysis on patient related data and built datasets in such a way that statistician can test their hypothesis.

I have been recognized as PROC STAR (twice) on official SAS community forum for answering and helping other SAS users.
